If a picture is worth a thousand words, motion picture aka a film, is worth a good sentence for them. Okay, this sentence may not make much sense but then these filmmakers do.  There are some filmmakers born and carved into the world that live beyond their human lifespan through their artwork and continue to inspire millennials.


The man behind Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight and many other super hit movies, none other than the man known for his ‘10 movie retirement plan’. Satire, violence and exceptional storyline, Quintin is not just a director-actor-writer but an artist that all the film industries of the world adore and look upon.


Most of you would have already guessed this name on the list by just a glance at the heading. And if you haven’t yet, here you go.

An applauded Indian filmmaker who won several accolades for his films based on Shakespeare’s plays Macbeth (Maqbool), Othello (Omkara) and Hamlet (Haider). His films though based on Shakespeare’s plays are strongly based on the realist backdrops of India and talk with several under themes.
